What Starting Go Marvelous Has Meant to Me

There is something different about seeing your own business name on a project for the first time. The work may be familiar, but the feeling is new.

Starting Go Marvelous Professional Services LLC has given me the opportunity to take 30 years of experience supporting consulting teams, executives, and business operations and build something of my own.

Throughout my career, I have found satisfaction in helping people get their work across the finish line. Sometimes that means bringing order to a lengthy report, making a presentation consistent and easier to follow, or organizing information so someone can move forward with confidence. I enjoy being the person others can count on to work through the details.

Go Marvelous grew out of that experience and the belief that this kind of support can make a meaningful difference to other businesses and professionals.

There has also been plenty for me to learn. When you start a business, you become responsible for much more than the work you know how to do. You have to think about how to explain your services, introduce yourself to potential clients, manage the administrative side, and put yourself out there in ways that may not feel familiar.

Some days bring excitement. Others require patience. I am learning to appreciate the progress without expecting everything to happen at once.

Completing my first few projects was an especially meaningful milestone. After spending so much time preparing to launch, I was doing the work I had built the business to provide. Having people trust me with their assignments made the effort feel real.

I have also appreciated the encouragement along the way. A kind message, a shared post, or someone mentioning Go Marvelous to a colleague can mean a great deal when you are getting started.

I am still early in this chapter, but I am proud to have taken the step. My goal is to build lasting relationships by being dependable, thoughtful, and useful to the people who put their trust in me.

That is what starting Go Marvelous has meant to me so far: the opportunity to build something with my own name behind it, grounded in work I know and care about.
